Are students being turned into salespeople?

No. Students are coached to explain a goal they care about to people who already know them. There is no script to memorise, no quota to hit, and no pressure tactic taught. The skill we are after is clear, honest communication, the product is what makes the conversation easy to have.

Is communication safe and appropriate?

Students invite people inside their existing circle, family, neighbours, and program supporters. Coaching covers respectful language, when to stop, and what to do if someone says no. We do not ask students to approach anyone they do not know.

Do students contact strangers?

No. There is no door-to-door component and no requirement to approach the public. Every campaign is built around people who already have a relationship with the student or the program.

Is this a product fundraiser?

Yes, and it is also a coached campaign. Supporters receive premium cookie dough, and the program receives a managed campaign with in-person student coaching, communications, reporting, and fulfillment coordination. The product is the vehicle, not the whole offer.

What does the director actually need to do?

Does the cookie dough need to stay frozen?

No. The dough is shelf stable at room temperature (66°F-72°F) for 21 days, so supporters and volunteers do not need freezer space on distribution night. It can also be refrigerated for up to 3 months or frozen for up to a year, and it may be thawed and refrozen.

How are financial estimates calculated?

The calculator multiplies your roster by a participation rate, then by average units per participating student and earnings per unit. Every assumption is visible and editable, and the output is a planning estimate, not a projection of what your program will raise.
