What the funds supported

The funds covered performance rights, costume rentals, lumber for the set, and printed programs for the full run.

The moment it turned

On closing night, the director asked how many people in the audience had supported the campaign. More than half the hands went up, and the cast saw, for the first time, how wide their community really was.

Campaign stories are editorial placeholders. No quote is published until the program has reviewed and approved it.

  • The students didn’t just raise money. They sold tickets, invited grandparents, and filled the house. That’s the whole point.

    Director

  • I invited my old drama teacher from middle school. She came to the show and cried during the finale.

    Student

  • The campaign gave our kids a reason to reach out to people they cared about. It made the show feel bigger than the school.
